How to Pay With Crypto

Sequence Matters · Payment Guide

Pay with crypto, without the guesswork.

This guide explains how to pay with USDC, choose the correct network, understand network fees, find your TXID, and avoid the most common payment mistakes.

Most important rule
Always use the exact token and network shown during the live Sequence Matters checkout. USDC on Solana and USDC on Ethereum are different transaction routes.

What is USDC?

USDC is a dollar-pegged stablecoin designed to maintain a value near one U.S. dollar. Sequence Matters accepts only the crypto and network combinations displayed during checkout. If checkout says USDC on a specific network, use that exact combination.

How to pay in 6 simple steps

01

Select Pay With Crypto

Choose the crypto payment option during checkout. Your order total will show the amount that needs to be received.

02

Choose the network shown

Select the available USDC network shown at checkout, such as Solana or Ethereum. Your sending wallet or exchange must use the same network.

03

Copy the live checkout address

Copy the receiving address directly from the current Sequence Matters checkout. Do not use an address from a DM, old screenshot, or old message.

04

Send the full USDC amount

Send the exact amount due as one transaction when possible. Any exchange withdrawal fee or blockchain network fee is separate from the order amount.

05

Copy the TXID

After the transfer is submitted, open the transaction details in your wallet or exchange and copy the TXID, transaction hash, or transaction signature.

06

Submit and verify

Paste the TXID into the payment field when requested. The payment is checked on-chain before the order moves into fulfillment.

Before you press Send

✓ Token is USDC.
✓ Network matches checkout exactly.
✓ Address came from the live Sequence Matters checkout.
✓ The full order amount will be received.
✓ Payment is sent as one transaction when possible.
✓ No address came from a DM, old screenshot, or old message.

Solana vs. Ethereum

Both networks can carry USDC, but the route matters. The network selected in the sending wallet or exchange must match the network shown at checkout.

USDC on Solana

Choose this only when checkout and the sending platform both specify Solana. A self-custody wallet may need a small amount of SOL to cover the network fee.

USDC on Ethereum

Choose this only when checkout and the sending platform both specify Ethereum. A self-custody wallet may need ETH to cover the network fee.

Network fees and gas

Blockchain networks and exchanges can charge transaction or withdrawal fees. Those fees are separate from the Sequence Matters order total. The amount received must still be at least the full amount shown as due at checkout.

Example: if the checkout total is 165 USDC, Sequence Matters needs to receive at least 165 USDC.

Custodial vs. non-custodial wallets

Custodial wallet or exchange

A company holds the private keys and processes the withdrawal for you. You still need to choose the exact USDC network shown at checkout.

Non-custodial wallet

You control the wallet and its recovery phrase. You are responsible for protecting those credentials and for having the network’s native token available when a fee is required.

Sequence Matters will never ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, password, or exchange login.

What is a TXID?

A TXID—also called a transaction ID, transaction hash, or transaction signature—is the public blockchain identifier for your transfer. Think of it as the receipt number for the transaction.

On an exchange

Open your withdrawal or activity history, select the completed USDC transfer, and look for Transaction ID, Transaction Hash, TXID, or View on Explorer.

In a self-custody wallet

Open the wallet’s activity or transaction history, select the USDC transfer, then open the transaction details or blockchain explorer and copy the identifier.

Common questions

Can I send USDT, SOL, ETH, or another token?

No. Send only the token shown at checkout. If the checkout says USDC, the payment must be USDC on the selected network.

Can I pay from an exchange?

Yes, if the exchange supports withdrawing USDC on the exact network shown at checkout.

Can I split a payment into multiple transactions?

Use one transaction for the full amount when possible. Automated payment matching is designed around a single payment for a single order.

What happens if I select the wrong network?

Do not immediately send a second payment. Contact Sequence Matters support with the order information and TXID. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible, and recovery may not be possible.

What if my payment is still pending?

Wait for your wallet or exchange to show that the transfer was successfully submitted or completed. Exchange processing and blockchain finalization times can vary.

Do I need to send extra USDC or a tip?

No. Send the amount shown as due at checkout. Extra payment is not required.

Will Sequence Matters ever ask for my recovery phrase?

No. Never share a seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, password, or exchange login with anyone claiming it is needed to verify your order.
